Bad National Choices

Just got back from 8 days at WDW. Got in to MCO late on arrival day and the Emerald Aisle (now called Club) was chock full...unfortunately they were all the same car! Every car was a Pontiac G6 in different colors. Now don't flame me...I know that is what I am promised when I ask for an intermediate car. But I have never seen this before. We have always gotten some great (bigger) cars.

This won't stop me from using National but I was a bit disappointed.

You reserved an intermediate car and got one. I'm not sure why your disappointed?

the Pontiac G6 and Dh really likes it. That said, this last time (4/8) we got in about 7:30 or so and found a Buick LaCrosse on the aisle and took that. It was very nice. But if I'd had to take the G6, I would have been fine with that too.

One of the reasons I use National is to have a choice of cars...not colors. Forget the size...just having a choice of cars would be nice.

Turns out we found Alamo paperwork in the car. So they really do mix and match!

I understand what you are saying. From previous visits, there are often expanded choices. I hear ya. I do like the G6.

Yep..

Just got back and the variety of brands was there, but not sizes. Everything was an intermediate...better luck next time!!

We had the exact opposite thing happen last time at National.

Last September we arrived about 2pm and the parking lot was empty. There were 4 cars to choose from. 1 G6 and 3 huge Buick cars. DH wanted the G6 so he was happy.
