Bad cabins on Fantasy?

Are there any bad location cabins on decks with cabins above and below? For ex, would deck 9 have any bad locations if both deck 8 and 10 are all cabins? By bad I mean particularly noisy. Getting ready to book on Fantasy and got assigned a guaranteed but no room number. We are a family of 5 and category is B. I think deck is 7,8,9. On one cruise we were under a restaurant that had a midnight buffet and it was awful! So a little paranoid:confused3

Thanks!!!

We've stayed Deck 7 forward and everything was really quiet. No noise from above, below, next door, or the hallway.

I love deck 8, personally. We also stayed on deck 5, but we were right next to the kids' clubs, which made for a lot of traffic outside our door. I like to joke that every single kid (and their parents) passed by our door on that cruise!

My ideal cabin (outside Concierge, if I won the lottery) would be a 4B on deck 8 somewhat close to the elevators.

Stateroom 5150. It's next door to Pepe's door. Well, actually Pepe's door is just on the wall of stateroom 5150. Kids think it's real fun to knock (or pound) on the door at all hours (in spite of being asked not to disturb Pepe at certain times).

I know it's not on deck 7, 8, or 9, but I'm just putting it out there.

we were at the rear of the boat
the room was great
but long walk to elevators and other end of the ship
but i think exercise did me good

Our upcoming trip in March we are in cabin 10048, hopefully the noise level wont be bad from the deck above.

This is my rule of thumb. Any deck directly below the pool decks, or directly above where the main theaters are, restaurants etc. I try and keep at least 1-2 deck buffer from the above. Ive seen comments that under a rest, such as Cabanas, or under the MDRs during the night guests can hear the tables and chairs moving, and vaccuums as the room is cleaned. Same thing with the pool decks, I know 1 person who heard chairs being moved all night long as the decks were cleaned. Over the theatres, guest have commented on the noise level (hence my 2 deck rule). On deck 1 and 2 foward or aft( this is personal experience,) you can hear and feel the thrusters as the ship docks and manuvers in the channel. These are all off limits to me and my family.

Apologies in advance if it is not allowable to post the following link...

This is where I started my search for a cabin on the Dream.

Quick summary...but lots more details at the site....

Disney Fantasy Best & Worst Staterooms: Summary

Jahber, I got your cabin! We are on Deck 8 just outside the elevators. I was a little apprehensive about this location at first, but I've read enough of other people's posts about this location that I am really glad we got it!

6677 and 6679 had serious vibration problems. They were otherwise quiet but must be near something mechanical because when the ship goes fast at night they really vibrate a lot. We had all been on many previous cruises but never experienced vibration like this before.

That was the room I was referring to on deck 5 ;)

Great! I love deck 8. Sailed twice in 4Bs and would do it again in a heartbeat. Have a great cruise!

Loved deck 7 mid ship however we came from deck 5 at the rear of the ship. Very noisy due to the ships engine and a steady viberation. Had to switch rooms the first night due to the noise
