So far, I've never had anything with bacon that would have been better without bacon. I've had bacon cookies and they rocked my world. Now, I'm waiting for the post about how evil bacon is and how no one in their right mind would eat it...

I don't eat bacon a lot, but the probably the best thing I have ever eaten in my life is an appetizer a friend of ours makes every year for New Years Eve. It is a saltine cracker with a spoon of brown sugar wrapped in bacon then baked. OMG, best thing I ever put in my mouth, and I look forward to it every New Year's. There is never a single one left.

That sounds delicious!! A friend I know makes bacon-wrapped-'lil smokies for holiday parties. A 'lil smokey wrapped in a 1/2 slice of bacon and topped w/brown sugar and baked... sooooo delicious!

A place here in town makes bacon pancakes... crispy crumbled up bacon mixed in the batter... mmmmmmmmm!!

And Bacon Salt is just the thing for adding that bacon flavor to anything if you're short on real bacon.

Bacon Salt is AWESOME! I found it at a Winn Dixie (which I NEVER shop at), so I bought a bunch (so I don't have to go BACK to Winn Dixie )

I make those lil smokies. I call them 'weenies' or 'man sushi'. 10-12 years ago, no one had heard of this recipe - I stole it from a coworker. Now they are everywhere! I let them cook slow so that the brown sugar can caramelize...yummmmmmmm (why is there not a :drool: smilie?)

There's a chain of restaurants called "First Watch" that specializes in breakfast/brunch/lunch and their silverware wrappers say "I love you more than bacon". haha

Love crisp but not burnt bacon. Detest soft bacon. Love it on grilled cheese or all by itself. Turkey bacon is a nice way to enjoy bacon without all the guilt.

I 100% agree. Bacon is the anti-raisin. One makes everything better, the other ruins everything.

Nothing worse than somebody putting raisins in perfectly fine baked goods. It's like biting into a dead fly.
