So how is the bacon at Chef Mickey's. Most breakfast buffets I've tried use cheap bacon. I prefer Oscar Meyer.

I don't know about the bacon at Chef Mickeys, but the bacon at the Cape May breakfast was excellent.
Just wondering if WDW uses the same brand of bacon at all of their Resorts?

:earsgirl: :earsboy:

The bacon at Chef Mickey's is very good. We went in 1999, and I have commented many times how much I liked the bacon there.

This thread made me smile...cuz DH and I have remarked SEVERAL times that the bacon at Chef Mickey's is the best. I do not think all the restaurants at WDW use the same purveyors, believe it or not. I know the bacon is different at different restaurants.

We try to do Chef Mickey's often, and it is a joke between us that we PILE our plates HIGH with the bacon! :rotfl:

Last year, we could not get DD to eat anything else once she tried the bacon... ::yes::

The bacon is really good. Bacon as far as they eye can see. Giant Piles of bacon. Mmmmm bacon

this yr we're trying Chef Mickey's brkfst on our 1st full day at WDW
and we have Cape May brkfst planned too the following wk

Chef Mickey does not however have kosher bacon, so you may want to go someplace else. Chef Mickey is what it is, I wouldn't drive to far just to eat the bacon. I'm guess I'm old and crabby but questions like this make me crazy. :sad2:

We ate breakfast at Chef Mickey's on Sunday. I had some bacon, but I really didn't pay too much attention to it. I was busy stuffing my face with the veggie lasagna and the cheesy potatoes. I remember the bacon was cooked just right--not burnt and not flimsy nor too greasy--very good bacon, I'd say.
