Backyard Barbeque

Has anyone been to Mickey's Backyard Barbeque at FW? How was it?

On the WDW site it calls this seasonal, does anyone know when it runs? I am asking for friends that are going in early December.

Hello There.

I have done the back yard bar b q and I will be going in 26 moer days . It runs only on Tuesdays and THursdays I believe and it's a great time. It's a good opportunity to meet the characters...sometimes in the park it's just to hot to wait in line for an autograph and pictures...anyway, the food is excellent and there's a how down coutry band and they teach you line dances and it's allot of fun..great for the kids. It's under a pavilion so you don't have to worry about rain

It was fun. We ate,drank, and danced (although not very well
in my case). It was a great time and I would recomend it to anyone. My only advice, try to get there early. We did and got good seats away from some very nasty thunderstorms.

I was a little disappointed, b/c I was expecting a show with the characters. The characters come out twice for pictures and autographs. There is no show with them. The food was excellent and I think I would enjoy it more the 2nd time around now that I know what to expect. It was just me and DD and it was so hot that day. I needed someone to help me with her.
