Backstage Tours...Who's taken them and which is best?

We have heard about the Backstage Tours but I've not been able to find out much about them on the boards. Are they worth it? And which one is best?

You can go to www.disney.go.com and do a search, just type in backstage tour and when the page loads just click on #3 Convention Tours. It will list all the tours that are available, click on any of them and it will give you a quick run down of the tour.

Now as for which tour I have done. My husband and I did the Backstage Magic Tour and highly recommend it, but be warned it is $199+ tax pp.

I did BS as my first tour about two years ago, in a few weeks I will be doing my ninth, Gardens of the World. They are all great, IMO. And BS set the tone for me and gave me the desire to do one on each trip there. Make sure you get available discount if you qualify, most are 15%, $30 on that one.

DH and I did Backstage Magic, and it was wonderful! We have also done the Keys to the Kingdom tour, and it was good, but no half-day tour can match what the all-day Backstage Magic is. However, do whichever one matches your budget and time schedule, I'm sure you'll have a great time.

We can hardly wait for our youngest child to be 16 so the DKs can go with us. Looking forward to being able to do the tour at AK.
