Backstage Pass Magical Offers Question

Yesterday I got this brilliant Idea that my DH should have an account with Disney to increase our chances of getting a code. So he signed up and I immediately sent him to check his magical offers. I just wanted to see if his said anything different from mine, and it did! Now mine has been teasing me for months with this message, "Receive a special rate at Walt Disney World® Resorts where you can experience comfort and affordability close to the excitement of the Parks! Check back soon for more details." I keep checking back and it never changes. I would love to know about this special rate.
Now, this is what his said, "Book an unforgettable 2008 Walt Disney World family vacation and receive a magical call from Mickey Mouse on Christmas Day this year! Get details" Now the part that says get details is a link, but when I click it, it just tells me the page is unavailable. So much for that!

So now that I realize that they are not teasing everyone with the same note, I'm wondering, what does it tell you?

I think last December they were offering for those who booked a vacation that Mickey would call them Christmas Day. Kinda like a Christmas surprise. Don't recall the exact details.
I don't know if internet providers still do this -- but years ago a common ISP in our area at that time (Cox) would advertise their internet service was so much faster. Well, it was "faster" because when users were going to web pages they were most likely accessing the site that Cox kept on their servers, rather than going straight to the web site on the internet. So users quite often were not getting the latest and greatest web page of the site. They were getting what was stored on Cox's servers instead.
I don't know if this is the case at all any longer as that has been at least 5 years ago and technology has changed since.
But I wonder if that is how some Dis-ers seem to post about what seems to be older info they see.
Just seems odd when some report seeing older info and some don't. And in your case it is probably the same computer in the same houselhold, and i would assume the same provider.

I've been signed up since last year at disneyworld.com and i recently signed up DH under his email address and we have different messages as well. I wonder why? He has the offer about Mickey. The link does not work for me either.
