If we decide to take the Backstage Magic tour, should I forget about the Hidden Treasures tour?

Since I've never experienced either of these tours, I'm going to bump this back to page 1 for you so that some of our veterans can offer advice.

I've only done the Back Stage Magic out of those two choices. The Back Stage Magic tour was wonderful and, you won't regret it. I'm sorry that I can't help with the other. The other tours that I've taken have all been great! I would think the Hidden Treasures Tour would be good also.

I am going to bump this up to see if there are any recent Hidden Treasures Tour reports.

Trying to decide between Hidden Treasures or Steam Train tour

I went on the Hidden Treasures tour with my husband in January and wasn't totally impressed - although it was fun. I think I was a little annoyed that it cost as much as the KTTK tour, but was shorter and didn't include a meal, and was disappointed that our tour guide wasn't as good as Rae, our tour guide for KTTK. That said my husband loved the tour, and walks around quoting all the things he learned while on it. And I must say, it was neat to be in the World Showcase while no one else was, and made for some great photo ops.

Did you get a pin at the end of the tour?

We've done both the KTTK tour (2003) and the Hidden Treasures of World Showcase tour (2001). Our tour guide for KTTK was Rae, and I think that contributed to making the tour very special. When we took the Epcot tour, thing were much less organized, name tags written on label tags with Magic Marker, no pins, etc. I'm not sure this is still the case. I guess I'd say that the KTTK tour gave more bang for the buck, but you're talking about Backstage Magic, the $200 all four parks tour right? Each of the tours taught us interesting things, and let us see some backstage areas.

In April we're doing Backstage Safari at AK.

We have done the Keys to the Kingdom tour and Wild by Design (AK) in the past. Both were very good. This past week, we did Backstage Safari and Hidden Treasures. We didn't care for the Backstage Safari at all. Wild by Design was, on the other hand, wonderful!
