Was planning on doing the Backstage Magic tour in a few weeks, but wondering if there's too much overlap with the other tours we've done to make it worth the cost (Epcot DestiNations, Epcot Undiscovered Future World, Marceline to Magic Kingdom, Keys to the Kingdom).

Epcot portion goes backstage at the American Experience, which would be new. The MK portion says Utilidoors, which we did on The Keys tour. Central Shops sounds cool but we did go to costuming on Future World tour. And then backstage at Rivers of Light (our least favorite nighttime show).

I was excited to do this tour until our guide at the Future World tour a few weeks ago told us it's run by Adventures by Disney and is geared more towards younger families (age 12+ versus the other tours age 16+). He suggested it might not be as interesting to us, not sure what to make of that.

If anyone has done this tour in addition to others, could you please advise? Thank you!

Oh, it's definitely not geared towards younger families. It was all adults when I went about 3 months ago. Yes, it goes into the utilidors, but it focuses on different things within the utilidors than Keys to the Kingdom does, according to the guides I had.
I'm not sure you went to Creative Costuming on the Future World tour, as it's not located at Epcot. Creative Costuming, which you visit on Backstage Magic, is in a totally backstage area not quite near any of the parks, and I don't think any of the other tours go there. This is where they design and build all of the character costumes, etc.
The lunch is at Tiffins, which is awesome.
Central Shops was really cool to see.
The show control system for Rivers of Light is pretty amazing if you're into that stuff.

Upon further research, the "costuming" department you mentioned having visited on the Future World tour is the wardrobe department within the Cast Services building at Epcot. Totally different place.

This is definitely an adult geared tour. I’ve done Keys to the Kingdom and the Future World tour in Epcot. Hands down, this was the best tour I’ve ever done. Go for it. You won’t regret it!

We did backstage Magic last year and really enjoyed it. We've also done Epcot DestiNations, Epcot Undiscovered Future World, and Keys to the Kingdom. The only overlap was the Utilidors, but we hardly had any time there, so it was fine. The Central Shops was amazing, and I loved the laundry facilities!
We had lunch at Whispering Canyon Cafe which was family style, so got to talk to other guests and hear their stories.
