Backstage Magic 7 hour Tour not available?

I just got off the phone with 2 different CM's & the first CM said she simply couldn't take my reservation because nothing was available that whole week. They take these 90 days out just like the dining. So I got to thinking how can that be? Certainly I could book at the end of my stay which would put me 95 days out of my weeks stay. (today is my 88th) Could all the tours be booked but how? So I called back

The second CM I spoke to checked & indicated nothing at all had been booked actually & couldn't explain why.

She mentioned that the week of Thanksgiving they do not do the tours but couldn't explain why the week prior (my week) wouldn't let her book.

I asked if maybe there was a glitch in the system & to no avail she didn't know.

Can anyone shed some light on this; I was really wanting to do this tour with my daughter as a surprise.

Anyone out there do this tour around the holidays? Did you enjoy it?

Never mind folks, the CM this morning said they "opened up" the tours for that week & now I'm booked & so ready to go. And thank goodness for AP & DVC discounts

I would like to know if anyone has ever done this tour though & could share their opinions on it.

My DH and I did this tour back in 2001, we really liked the tour and recommend it a lot. Hoping to do it again soon.
