For those of us who have been, we know what you are feeling right about now. You really are in for a great trip with so many surprises along the way. Just enjoy every moment. Take everything in...slowly. It goes by so fast, but its an unbelieveble experience. As for the Guides, everyone seems to be reporting how wonderful each and everyone of them are. Once you are picked up at the airport you have no worries. They take care of you every step of the way. And, don't hesitate to ask questions. If you buy lots at Imagineering and Disney Studios, you can ship items home when you get to the Grand. Just talk to your Guides. (I don't know the cost.) You are in for a treat. Please let us know what you thought and your favorite parts. Have a magical trip!!!

You're all lucky, with your trip reports and pictures and expectations...

In my day, all we had to go on was the itinerary! And that pamplet wasn't even the public copy! We didn't get that one until the day of our trip!

(I enjoyed acting like an old man during that post. It fulfilled me.)

Quinn formerly did the Backstage Magic Tour, and now he's a Disneyland Ambassador. If you get to meet him, tell him Doug and Rita (and Susie) from the DVC Backstage Magic Tour say "hi!".

No one else has chimed in so I will. It was a WONDERFUL trip in every way. Everything was perfect. We had a small group..12..and everyone was very nice. Our guides were Kristin and Diana. We met Quinn and he had dinner with us at Steakhouse 55 (Hook's Pointe was closed for renovation). I don't watch Jimmy Kimmel, but Uncle Frank was with us our whole tour and was so nice!
We also got to go to Walt's barn..such excited and warm people there. Got to ride the train twice . I loved all the little extras. The pirate giving us a hard time and escorting us up the exit to the ride was great, as were all the people who talked to us. REALLY appreciated the place to view Fantasmic! and the seating for fireworks. The artist the final night was amazing..how cool to be her! Everywhere we went and everything we did was carried off without a hitch and with humor and warmth. The Imagineer and Henson puppeteer were amazing! Anyone who is even thinking about this and is a Disney fan should not hesitate in taking this trip.

She drew Jiminy for me and tuxedo Mickey for my DH (since there were so few of us we each got a drawing, not one per family)
Quinn talked to us alot about his expereinces..especially about the whole application process. I can see why he was chosen! I really got to see so many cast members in a new light and it was nice to see how many had true passion for Disney.

Just got off the phone with Disney...we are booked on early discounts for 12/28/09 to 1/2/10!!!!!

I just love all your responses to your trip..we need to do something to get us out of these winter doldrums next winter break!!!!

I absolutely loved talking to the Disney reps to sign up..they are so informative

Hi Everyone,

Finally getting a chance to get back on after a long week back at work. I can't say enough wonderful things about this vacation. I am ready to go back! It was great having such a small group and the people we went were so nice. I can't wait to keep in touch with everyone.

The highlight of the trip was going to the Jim Henson studios. I actually got to put on a puppet and puppeteer with a real Jim Henson puppeteer using the monitors and everything. That was truly a dream come true. The highlight for my husband was going to Walt's apartment which was so amazing.

We got to go to the taping of Jimmy Kimmel live with Mickey Rourke and Michael Strahan and my father in law taped it for us and you could see us in the audience which was so cool!

Stacia drew Mufasa for my husband and Clarice (chip and dale's girlfriend) for me because I couldn't choose who was my favorite between chip and dale.

If you are thinking about doing this trip it is completely worth it. I am already thinking about planning a trip for my mom and I.
