We are leaving tomorrow for Universal Studios/Disney World (had to save the Disney for last, LOL). When you are going on a ride, do they have a spot to leave your backpack/camera? We are renting a stroller, but didn't think leaving it in there was a good idea.

If it's a car-like ride, just stuff the backpack down between your legs. I wouldn't leave it in a stroller. I would also carry an XL sized ziplock bag in an outer pocket of the backpack -- that way it's readily available when it comes time to board SpM, Kali or similar. (seal your backpack up against the elements).

There is no spot to leave you bags at each ride at WDW. I have always taken my backpack on the rides with me. I just put one leg through the strap and I've never had a problem.

Having carried a video camera bag on all rides at WDW for three days you can do it. Wrap your arm through the strap or keep tightly between your feet and you'll be fine. I did this and it worked great, even with an expensive engagement ring hidden inside, yes for all three days before popping the question!

As for Universal, most rides you will be ok, but on coasters such as Hulk, they have free (at least several years ago) short time lockers for you to use to keep stuff in while you ride. Have fun at both and hold on tight! :goodvibes

Oh no.....No one in this family will be riding The Hulk, LOL. I could do that stuff when I was young. At 35, I am just too old to be turned upside down.

There are lockers at all the big rides that don't let you take items on (Look at entrance ) they are free for about 1 hr while your in line on the ride they are located at the exit to the ride .Just look or ask CM at entrance.

We took our backpack on all the rides we went on, including the more crazy ones (Space Moutain, Big Thunder, etc). Wore it on the front, secured over shoulders. Made sure zips were closed. nothing lost.
