Backpacks allowed in USF??

Just another last minute question before we leave - can you take backpacks into USF with snacks, water, etc. in it? I think we took them into WDW last year prior 9/11. Thanks for info.

how long does the inspection line get / take? Is it similar to the disney search area? thanks

The search is done inside the gates and not outside like Disney. It's the same process, though.
