We are going to FL in Jan. and my DSD's mother said that when she went for work last year she went on a 45 min. ride on a tram/train that showed the filiming locations/studios/sets of Lost and Desperate Housewives.

I've been to Universal in CA and know that they have a backlot tour but is there something similar in FL? Everything I seem to find says it closed in 05 (or something like that).

Thanks in advance!!!

There is no backlot tour at Universal Orlando. It was cancelled years ago.

The backlot tour of Desperate Housewives is in Universal Hollywood. There is no backlot tour in Orlando.

The Production Studio Tour opened in 1990 and closed in 1995. Only rode it twice, was not a big hit.:thumbsup2

Lost filmed in Hawaii and Desperate Housewives films in Hollywood. Unless they moved the sets or have a special exhibit set up somewhere, these things are not at Universal Orlando.

I did not see any type of backlot tour offered at Universal Orlando when I was there.

i loved that backlot tour when they had it.

so sorry when it left the studios.........:sad1:
