Well we are back after 2 really hot weeks at Pop. The parks were the busiest we have seen, I was talking to a woman on the bus one night and she said she came the same time last year and it was a breeze she couldn't believe the difference this year, certainly not as quiet as we expected.

Buses at Pop were always packed and very often we couldn't get on the the first one plus they were not as often as we had anticipated.

Soarin was fantastic, didn't do Everest as we were too tired to stay for our fast pass so we gave it to a couple on our way out.

I need another holiday now to recover. ;)

Welcome back - i came back yesterday and thought the parks, apart from IOA last Saturday, were empty. We normally go these next 2 weeks so maybe it just seemed emptier than these weeks. We managed to do EE 11 times!! How is the jet-lag? I am just about recovering today but have a wedding all day tomorrow. I have told them not to expect me to be the life and soul of the party. Busy packing suitcases again cause we are going to Canary Islands next Saturday (for a rest!!)

:wave2: Welcome back Cazzie, glad you had a great time and I look forward to hearing all about it :)

We only did Sea World apart from Disney they were definately the busiest we have seen. We went to MK from Epcot on our first Friday and it was packed we only stayed enough to get a quick snack and then left. We used fast passes as the times for a lot of the rides were 50 mins plus. We must have picked the busiest days as the wait time for EE when we were there was 120 mins so we got a fast pass which was for four hours later but by that time we decided to go back as we were hot & tired. We went to do TT the one day and that was 120 mins wait time too.

Welcome home Cazzie :)

Did you like Pop apart from being disappointed with the buses?

We did Miffy although if I am being totally honest we thought the room was showing a bit of wear & tear, in fact we thought the outside was extremely clean compared to the inside. Having stayed at hotels on the I drive I thought that Pop would be of a better standard but to be honest we both agreed we'd had cleaner rooms on the I Drive.

Oh dear Cazzie I am sorry to hear that :(

It wasn't awful just that the wall was all marked, the carpet never seemed to vacumn that clean and you could see where the cleaner had 'missed' in the bathroom. We were left a towel with loads of holes in it, I mean we laughed but really it wasn't what we expected.

we've another 2 weeks here, but ive found it pretty busy. soaring at epcot was 80mins and fast pass times were unsuitable so we gave them to some brits coming in as we left. seaworld today was mobbed to the point of being unenjoyable. mk and ak were acceptable. we are off back to cypress gardens tomorrow, then we are giving the parks a miss for a couple of days due to memorial day crowds.
