Wow senator Mccain is so wanting to get back to washington he is spending the day and night in New York, doing an interview with Katie Couric, meeting with the rich wife of a british billionaire who once supported hillary, and will speek at the clinton global initiative tommorow.

Wow, you would think he would already be dawning his super mccain suit and already be marshalling the troops!!!!!!!!!

Total campiagn ploy since he is doing so poorly in the campaign lately. He's hoping to change the focus and salvage what he can. Too late I think.

I think there will be a deal in the next two days and the debate will go forward, right after mccain holds a press conference taking credit for the bill

apparently the white house has invited the two of them to the white house tommorow...if I am obama i go, and hold firm on the debate

Interesting enough, he called David Letterman personally and told him he had to cancel tonight's appear - because he was going back to Washington.

Then Letterman finds out - he was actually in New York doing an interview with Katie Couric (I think).

Letterman is not happy that McCain lied to him.

I hear its a must TiVo tonight!
