Back to School Thread

I'm 18, gonna be a college freshman officially when I move in on August 31st!

I have almost everything for my dorm - I just need a hair straightener (my mom and I share one now) and basic supplies like tissues, paper towels, etc.

Clothes I think I'm finally done. I stocked up on AE jeans a few months back, and I've found some really cute shirts on clearance ($1.80 at Aero for one of them!) ... and yesterday bought sweats, a cute hoodie and some tank tops. Plus I have clothes from last year - not like I grew or anything haha

School supplies I hopefully will get to within the next week, because I'm leaving for Disney the 20th and I refuse to shop for things right before I go away.

As of right now I'm not really excited or nervous. I think once I get my roommate's info I'll probably start feeling something haha.

August Fourth my life officially ends......dang band camp
but school doesn't start until the 25th and then i have no life until the end of football season

what a joy
but it's defintly worth it though



but anyways i'm fifteen and i'll be going into the 10th grade

hahaha! very funny.. i personally thoroughly enjoyed my stay at "band camp".

yea, i dunno... when i go back to school, i won't be able to work nearly as much, so i neeeed to find an additional job... but, i'll be a SENIOR, so soooo excited there... blah, school

i go back the day after labour day, september 2nd i think ?
idn if i wanna go back, i dont want all the drama to start again
but this year i promised myself less partying, more school work
(lame, i know, but i HAVE to do good)
im gonna be in grade 11,
we dont call them jrs & sophmores in canada, well, in my town at least, haha
gotta start shopping soon, but thats the best part

Yeah, I know here in FL we used to get out in May and go back in August, but now we get out in June and still go back in August. Bleh.

I'm going back Aug 21st. I'll be a junior. I've bought nothing yet... but i haven't grown or anything so i'm just going to get some new shirts and belts and maybe a size smaller pants...and school suplies we don't get until after school starts

I'm homeschooled, so I don't go back. I work on school all year, I do a little bit of work each week. But right now, I'm in 10th grade.

I'm so excited.
I can't wait to go back, I can't wait to see people and have something to do.
I've been doing little things like looking for a new bookbag and stuff to help me get by.

Sadly, we will be entering the month of August at the end of this week. I know that there are quite a few people on here who go back to school in August so I thought, why not create this thread now. I'm sorry if there is another thread like this already.

Ok, so let's see. Hi i'm Mel, i'm going to be going back to school on September 2nd and I will be entering grade 12. I have just finished my back-to-school shopping it's early I know...but hey.

So....do you want to go back to school? I don't. So hmm...when do you all do your back to school shopping? What grade / when will you be starting school?

I'll be going back on Sept.2nd, Im going into grade 9, Ive got most of my clothing bought but not all of it, Ive got all my school supplies but one thing.
For some reason I like buying school supplies not to mention new clothes
Im ready to go back and see all my friends, but I dont want summer to be over at all.

Our first day back is August 18th. I go to a private school called St. Mary so we start early.

I am shopping Tuesday. I'm super excited for the shopping but not school. My bestie is moving away otherwise i would be excited to go back.
