Back to school supplies

Any idea when Walmart will start their back to school supplies sale? They always have crayola and paper really cheap.

Don't know where you are, but here in Florida they already started. Huge displays of basics in the middle of the main aisle.

i'm in NE alabama, and my wal-mart already has their school supplies mostly set up. there were a few empty spaces on the shelves, but not many. it looked like a work in progress when i was there yesterday. our schools start back on august 15th, so back-to-school sales start right after 4th of july.
i got a composition book for $.40, graph paper for (EEK!) $1.47/pk and the calculator DD13 needs for math for $8.88. clear backpacks were $9.00. i HATE those clear backpacks. they're crap and don't last a month. i wish DD were allowed to have a real backpack.

When I was in North Conway, NH last year over 4th of July week the local Walmart had everything out- cheap markers, crayons, glue, etc. Central Mass was a week or so behind- no clue why b/c schools go back about the same time.

We going the the theater today, so we'll stop at Wal-Mart on our way back home to see what they have out. I usually buy our Crayola crayons and markers from there. The only other thing I'm looking for right away are pink erasers.

Stores here are already set up. Staples started their sales a few weeks ago.

Staples has their penny and quarter sales starting tomorrow.

I bought most of the things I need for dd yesterday at Walmart.

I still have to get a white eraser and one more thing...(will have to look at my list)

I do want to keep a good look out for a good sale on Bic Mech pencils. We don't need any right now but by Christmas we will since dd and I both use them.

I'm looking for both. I did see the cap erasers at Staples, so I'll stop there and buy those. Just have to look for the rectagle type.

I have a bunch of unused Staples rewards. Does anyone know if that will count towards the $5 that needs to be spent to get the penny items? I'm a teacher and always stock up on the penny stuff because we can get 25 of each penny item.

I keep hearing about these white erasers. Where do you get those? I keep seeing the pink ones in the stores, but not white. My son is going into first grade, so I'm sure we'll be going through a lot of erasers!

I saw the Crayola 8 pack of Washable markers are $2 - anyone know if that's a good deal, or should I wait?

Walmart has the best price. I did not buy any but they were cheaper for sure.

I'm finished, did all my shopping off amazon Got some great deals...considering this was the longest list and he is only in 3rd grade, but, I'm not going to complain...when I moved to Colorado they took the prize for the worst/most expensive/you will never find this item list
