Hello everyone-

I was wondering how I would go about getting a cab from a WDW theme park to MCO. We will not have a hotel to depend on. This is our last day in Orlando, and since we have a late flight, we are choosing to go to Disney's Animal Kingdom, and then getting to the airport via taxi.

My question is: Can I get a taxi from a resort, regardless of whether I stay there? (ie. taking the bus to CBR etc, and going to the concierge and getting a cab?)

Yes, you can get a taxi from any resort or park. For AK, there should be taxis waiting just beyond the tram stop. At the resorts, there are usually taxis waiting right near the front entrance. You do not have to be staying at the resort to catch a taxi from there. Also, you do not have be staying on property to be able to use the bus system.

You can pretty much get a cab from anywhere on property. So if you end at AK you can just leave from there...the cabs are out in the parking lot area; if you don't see them just ask security.

Any resort will have them too - and you can ask at the door and they can get you one...sometimes you can see them and sometimes they are just out of sight but they are readily available.
