Hi
been quite a while since I did a back to back not still sure if it’s what I’ll do looking at all possibilities to this point but have a few questions
do we still have to go through the terminal ? And do we get on board before the new arriving guests as a few years back ?
if I want to do a load of wash will I be able to do so since I am keeping my same stateroom or are we not allowed to go back to our stateroom before 130 pm
if one cruise I am platinum and the other one Pearl do I get different gifts on both cruises ?
we can request same dinning team if we would like tight ?
thanks

I can answer some of your questions. All cruisers doing the B2B will meet up the morning of debarkation, leave the ship together, go thru customs and right back into the terminal to board for the next cruise.

If you are changing castaway tiers, you may or may not get the right gifts in your stateroom. We did not, but a quick trip to guest services made it right.

As for the serving team, yes you can request the same. In fact when we have done B2Bs we have been asked if we would like the same team. We have done B2Bs 3 times and have gotten the same each time.

The last time we did B2Bs in 2018 we didn't have to meet others anywhere in the morning. The letter in our room just said to disembark by 9:15 to go through customs. Maybe there weren't a lot of B2B guests? We were let on before other guests however it was not as much earlier as it had been in the past.

Our stateroom host, knowing we were coming back told us he would get to our room first and we could go in if we needed to. I know I popped in quick to get my sunscreen and stuff to go sit by the pool. I'm not 100% sure but I think we also did a load of laundry then. At least I wanted to and I don't remember not being able to so we probably did.

Feel like most questions were answered, but -

Technically you can go back to your room, but I feel like it was frowned upon and I felt like I was in the way (The hallways were pretty busy with workers) though no one actually said anything. I waited to do my laundry until about 1:30/2:00 when others were getting into their rooms and was able to use more than one washer/dryer because no one else was there.

As I understand B2B rules, yes you can go to your stateroom and/or do laundry but they ask that you not repeatedly go back-and-forth until staterooms open for all guests.

Not always true. Actual procedures will be in the letter you get in your room before debarkation. One time we met up with all the B2B people (there were over 300 of us) and we were escorted off, through check in and had to wait a few minutes to be allowed to reboard. Another time, the letter said we had to be off the ship by 8:30, check in and have a seat before boarding. We were boarded first on that one, once boarding began.

The one B2B we did where we were allowed back onboard way before anyone else, we were told that we could access our room, in and out, until the ship actually started boarding the new passengers. Then we had to either stay in our room, or stay on the other side of the rope until all rooms were open for everyone.

Good to know. Our B2B cruises have always had us meet in a certain location and disembark with the group.
