Has anyone done back to back Disney Adventures trips? Next year we are thinking of doing Knights and Lights and one of the Italy tours (Viva Italia or Rome and La Costa Bella.) It would either be Knights and Lights from 9.25-10.2 followed by Rome and La Costa Bella from 10.2-10.8 (adult only tour) OR Viva Italia from 8.28-9.5 followed by Knights and Lights from 9.5-9.12. On the first trip option I could add a pre-night or two on to London so we may be able to see Stonehenge. On the second trip I could book a post night or two to see Disneyland Paris. Do you think we would make the start of the second tours ok? When do most people arrive for the start of the tours? When is breakfast over the last day? Also, how far is Pompeii from Rome? Are there any good tour places from Rome to Pompeii if I booked a pre-night or two (day trip?) Thanks for any input!

That would be wonderful. I am sure the timing works fine as that is one of the options they suggested in a seminar I attended (these 2 trips Back to Back). I am sure it will be an amazing vacation especially with the add ons,

I can't answer from personal experience, but there was a family on our Knights and Lights tour that did the Ireland tour right before ours. They even had one of the same guides!

They had fun on both tours and didn't seem too tired from tour overload!

We also had a couple on our tour who had just finished the "Spain" tour, then flew from Barcelona to Rome. They didn't seem to have a problem, either. They felt it was worth it... "since they were already over there."

Only problem they had was with ABD booking their air.... due to contractural issues - ABD was unable to book their transfer from Barcelona to Rome, as I recall.

Well I put a deposit down for Viva Italia from 8.28-9.5 and then Knights and Lights for 9.5-9.12. I asked about the pre-night price for Rome and it is $389pp. I will see if I can get it for less. I would like to see Pompeii. I will probably book DL Paris by myself too on the other end. That was $1,165pp for the DL Hotel and $765pp for Hotel NY (2 nights with transfers and passes) with ABD.

I will think about the trips for the 14 days and see if I find any similar tours using nice hotels. So far the other tour companies (Go Ahead, Globus/Monograms) use hotels we do not like the reviews of. All the day tours and meals are extra too. Tauck was more $. I am sure I could do it on my own cheaper but I have only been to Ireland and DH has only been to Spain as far as Europe so these places are all new to us. I will try to pay for it by Exop TV-ing. :rotfl:
