I am booked for a back to back in August. My husband will not be with us for the first leg, but will be joining us for the second leg. Wondering if we will have to wait for him to get to the terminal before we can re-board? His flight won't even get in until closer to 3, so I hope not!!

Anyone know?

Typically you’d be able to reboard before the rest of new cruisers, if you wanted your husband to board at the same time you’d have to wait for his boarding group.
Are you saying his flight arrives day of the cruise at 3pm? That is really cutting it close for making it on the ship at all before all aboard.

His flight arrives at 11am and he is taking disney transportation to the port.

You can board without him. I guess I had the same question that FSU Girl had that in this post you indicate that his flight won’t get in until three. But then I saw where you said it was 11.

As @SamFaniam said. You do not have to wait for your "boarding party" to be there at the port before you check in and board. There are a few caveats that involve minors that don't need to be discussed here.

We've done a few B2Bs with family. We always get a message from them when their boarding group is called, then we meet them in atrium!

If his flight actually arrives around 11am, DCL transfers will NOT take until 3pm for him to arrive at the ship. Probably 12:30ish, depending on how long he has to wait for a bus to depart MCO.

As others have answered, as a B2B cruiser you do not need to wait and check-in again with him. He can join you on the ship.

Enjoy your cruise!

Unless his flight is delayed, or get stuck on the tarmac (I recall one time the airplane couldn't taxi to the gate because of some wildlife on the bridge)... which is why same day flights terrify me! But regardless, yeah, it's only about a 45 minute drive from the airport and the wait for the buses is not too bad, so if his flight is on time there's no reason it would take 4 hours door-to-door.
