I'm trying to find out about back to back stays booked through DVC at two different resorts and when the FP+ windows open. I thought we would only be able to book our first week, but then I saw this in the split stay thread in FP+ frequently asked questions:

Two RO Stays. The 60-day FP booking window will open at 60 days before the check-in date of the first RO stay and will extend until the checkout date of the second stay (and potentially beyond). This assumes valid tickets are linked to the MDX account.

Is this still valid or has that been changed? Anyone have a link to Disney's definitive policy

We've not had that experience. We've had the you can book for the first window but not the second.

ADRs you have to book separately, but split stays are supposed to be all open for FPs as of recently. I can confirm in 12 days though (that's when I book FPs for our split stay trip).

Oh? That's not what we were told. Of course, I was having a problem with fast passes being blocked on the last day of our first reservation (and for just half the party, not everyone even though our AP's were all for the same date and we were all on the same reservation) so I basically didn't even bother with questioning about the second week. I just spent half the day trying to get the fast passes for the FIRST week fixed, but then I got to wondering if we should have been able to also book the second week.
Though based on what a hash they made of my account (Losing linked passes, reservations, etc..) trying to get fast passes for the last day of our first week I don't know if I'd even want to attempt it.

I'm very curious to find out which it is. I was finding it impossible to find it clarified anywhere on the actual Disney site. Good luck to you! Please let us know. Thanks

I have a BTB stay ... BLT from Sept 24-27th then AK from 27th-30. They are both on seperate reservations. When the FP window opened for the first, I was able to book FP for both.
No problems!

Hello- I can confirm as well that with split stays you are able to book FP+ for the entire duration. We have a stay upcoming at OKW for 3 nights, BLT for 3 nights, and BCV for 3 nights and I was able to book FP+ for all 9 days when my window opened up on the first night of my OKW stay. As a previous poster stated, this is not true for dining ressies which is always a pain.

I have a 3 reservation stay (2 on points, 1 on cash) coming up. I was able to book all FP+ 60 days from first stay.

Does it depend on the length of stays for both reservations? I thought there was a limit of 10 days worth in the system, but maybe I am wrong about that. So if you have 2 reservations of 4 days each you will be good. But if you have 2 reservations of 7 days each, you may have an issue after day 10 until you get to 60 days out from your second reservation.

FP+ books 60 + 14 days out. There's a lot more (and better) information in the FP+ subforum.

I'm moving 5 or 6 times over 2 weeks (just me and it works for me to enjoy different resorts), and I was able to do FPs for the whole trip 60 days out (going in late Sept) Edit: I didn't actually do the whole trip but 11 days from the beginning (and didn't know about the +14).

We have a BTB stay and are linked with a family on MDE but they are not arriving until the day after us. (Both of us in DVC rooms.) Am I able to book FP+ for all 10 of us when our window opens or will we have to wait for their window to book all 10 people together?

Thanks tons!

If they are on a different reservation starting on a later day than your reservation begins then you cannot do their FP+ until their check in date reaches the 60 day mark.

Thank you!!
I assumed this to be the case, but was hopeful. Is there a way to "copy" to them once their window opens. I have never done this and have no idea how it works, but have read about other people doing it when they are trying to reserve hard to get FP+ attractions.
We just want to ride many of the same rides at the same time, and I don't know how to accomplish this other than holding off all FP+ until their window opens. Given that it's the week prior to Christmas, I'm assuming that additional day could make a big difference.

You should be able to copy to them if they are linked on your MDE reservation, however that is subject to whether the rides you have booked already are still available at the same time you book theirs.
