Does anyone know if DCL offers any discounts for back to back 7 day cruises(other than regular early booking discounts)????

Travis and I are doing back-to-back cruises in late summer of 2004. August 28th Western followed by the September 4th Eastern to San Juan. Haven't heard of any discounts for doing back-to-backs though.

Generally, even if they did offer a back-to-back discount, Disney won't "stack" discounts. For example, if you recieve a Florida Resident Rate you can't recieve an onboard booking credit for the same cruise. Or vice-versa. So, if they did offer a back-to-back discount, it may still be a better deal to accept onboard credits if that can be done.

Great question though!

In a word - NO. We have done a few back-to-backs and never an added discount.

Well, you'll have a "discount" of sorts -- no travel expenses to and from Port Canaveral between cruises.

I was wondering how Back-to-Back works.... do you stay on the ship, or get off and board again.... do you stay in the same stateroom, or change, do you keep the same KTTW card or get a new one for that cruise? Some many questions! Could someone please help me!?!

Some of the answers to your questions will vary from cruiser to cruiser based on their personal preferance.

Travis and I booked the same stateroom for each leg of our back-to-back so that we would not have to worry about switching staterooms in the middle of the trip. Other people may elect to switch.

You do not *have* to leave the ship when you return to Port Canaveral after the first week. You can either stay onboard or disembark and then reboard. If you decide to stay onboard you have to keep in mind that all shipboard services are suspended. Basically it's a good time to grab a chair or lounge on deck and stay out of everyone's way! If you decide to leave the ship, you won't be able to reboard until the regular boarding time.

New KTTW cards will be issued at Guest Services on the second Saturday.

We've got back-to-back's booked for Ocober, 2004. No discount.

We did back to back last October, no discounts.
We did stay on the ship as we had the same cabin for both cruises.
We may even do it agin next October.
