Back:: The highs and Lows!

Hi all, we arrived home at 1am Friday morning and crashed out straight away!

So onto the Highs and Lows as customary!

Highs:
Jemmas face when we revealed the surprise!! Will post a link to Youtube if the internet lets me upload!
Good weather - it drizzled a little on Monday when we arrived but wasnt too heavy as to stop us doing rides! Wednesday was lovely and warm - teeshirt weather!
Fantilusion - loved it!
Getting to go on ToT - thought DD wouldnt agree to it but she did!! But subsequently wont ride it. ever. again. The CM that brought us to the elevator was fantastic
Metting Cedric - a fantastic CM whom we met a few times over the days. He was just so nice and spent ages chatting to my DD.
The fireworks! They were spectacular!
Meeting lots of characters - Friar Tuck, Sheriff of Nottingham, Cruella (hilarious), Stitch, Mickey, Minnie, Sulley, Chip and Dale, Goofy, Pluto, Emile, Donald and of course Santa!
Having offically done every ride in DLP - only Parachutes to do in WDS - alas a reason to return
Stitch Live - gotta love him
Saving a fortune with the SHC!
All the Christmas decorations and shows.
Having a lovely family break.

Lows:::
Cafe Mistake aka Cake Mickey. Dreadful service, character interaction and food - more in the TR.
Mickeys Magical whatever hub show - bleurgh what a waste of time.
Coming home to hear my mum was in hospital having a brain scan after going in with blurred vision and an unbearable headache. I cried all day yesterday. But thankfully her tests came back and she has arthritis in her head (strange one I know) and bad sinusitus. Thank God it wasn't more serious, I was dreading the results.

Looking forward to returning in May for our quick honeymoon visit. It just gets more magical every time

I'm sorry to hear about your Mum, but you must be very relieved about her diagnosis .

Glad you enjoyed Christmas season at DLP - its my favourite and it didn't disappoint us either this week .

Thanks guys. Shes in flying form now and has resolved to get a bit healthier. Her arthritis is mild. We're just all so relieved now.

Must have a look and see if youtube is being agreeable!

lil_stitch Our Cedric is of Asian descent, mid twenties I would think and an absolute sweetheart. He was working in DLP when we met him, on Peter Pans Follow the Leader and Mickeys Winter Wonderland show. We also met him watching the Fantillusion parade.

I'm surprised and sad that you had a bad time at Cafe Mickey as we always love it, intrigued to read your trippie. The inconsistency of service in any location at DLP is a real shame
