My apologies for missing in action, but my mother is very poorly in hospital at the moment & I'm spending all my spare time there.

Sending that your mum makes a speedy recovery asap.

I've also spent the last week at the hospital - both my mum and mum-in-law had falls last week, luckily my mil was only a bit bruised but but my mum's fall was very nasty, she has fractured her shoulder and badly damaged her replacement knee and after a week in hospital had to transfer to a home to convalesce as I just can't see any alternative.
