Back ordered items from American Girl

I have two items on backorder with American Girl. They both had a ship date of 12/16. I don't need them for Christmas, they are dd's birthday gifts for January. Just wondering if anyone had experience with backorder items with American Girl? Did you get your items? They are Marisol's Tap and Ballet outfits, so I know that these are hot items. I don't know if I should expect it to be cancelled and start looking for alternative gifts or I should stop worrying!

I ordered Marisol's ballet outfit, and it was backordered until 12/16. It was shipped 12/3, and received 12/7. I am sure you will have it in time for DD's birthday.

I had the Marisol doll on back order for 12/16, and it shipped early and I received it 12/9.

Mine was the same. But they shipped all but one thing early.

I ordered Marisol and she was expected to ship on 12/16. I noticed yesterday that she is on the UPS truck and being delivered this week (yeah).

You should be fine. You could even call since I know that some things they are guaranting that you'd have it by Christmas. That being said, you will have it in plenty of time for January...

I had 3 things on back order early last week when I placed the order
expected 12/12 ship date

The snowboard outfit
the snowboard accesories
and Licorice the cat

the cat, and the accessories shipped yesterday, and I just got an email that the snowboard outfit, is now 12/16

We ordered Marisol's whole world for our DD5 back in early November. Slowly, most items have showed up...One box at at time. I thought it was going to be one large box. We still haven't received Marisol's Tap Outfit or her Performance Trunk. We're putting it away for DD b-day in July. But now every hidding place in my room has a blue AG Today box in it.
