hi, got back last mon day, flew with virgin into manchester, tvs and nintendos, stayed at asmov, did all major parks, and dc. weather 80's, rained about one and a half days (not consequtivly)
Lows:-
jet lag, waking up at 4am, two days running. - coping with my jetlag is bad enough, but dd ds, very bad.
food at asmov, a bit well "paper plate-burger" type. Only ate there when had to.
first day going to the most discusting ponderosa - sorry cant tell you where, it was all by itself. after jetlag, husband getting ratty in the car, children fighting and wanting to go back to england. eating experiences picked up from there.
waiter at wilderness cafe, loudly poing out to us that tips were not included in the bill, this after having established that we had been to us before. lovely meal, great place, but his attitude left a bad taste in out mouths. He did not get the sort of tip he might have done.
at mk, some terrible animated bear thing, guess you have to be american to enjoy it. we only liked the aircon.
Highs:-
weather,
parks so clean.
magic kingdom (went four times, kids loved it)
pirate ride - did it four times .....Yo HO HO HO a Pirates.......
lion king show, you must do it, absolutely fabulous. we did twice!!
not having jet lag.
mnssh. - amazing.
very helpful staff, at disney parks, sometimes reall going out of there way to be helpful.
mostly low q times 15-20 mins any higher and we used the fast pass, worked brill.
child swap system.
mission space - but did feel sick afterwards.
swimming with dolphins.
finding nice clean, ponderosa sizzlers, dennys and my fav. sweet tomatoes on i drive.
I could go on and on, already thinking that perhaps we could go again when ds (now 6) just a bit taller.

....anyway all you help made it a better hol thanks.

Great to read you had a good time.
you made me smile about the animated bear thing at MK, terrible isn't it?:p
I think it's called country bear jamboree.
what a rude waiter you had, The only tip i would have given him would be to brush up on his manners.

I like to hear about the lows as well as the highs! I know most people keep it positive but the reality of a family holiday is there are lows, well in mine there is anyway!
