Back Home Again from Sam & Paul's Wedding & a Fantastic Trip!

Hi all

We arrived home at lunchtime today after the most brilliant week in WDW. It was truly the best ever and I don't ever think there will be a wedding to compare with Sam and Paul's!!

The whole week was amazing and perfect. Sam and Paul had organised everything down to the Nth degree and amongst Pete and I trying to see as much of WDW as possible we attended Sam's Bridal Shower/Paul's Groom's Bath!! .... a wonderful rehearsal dinner at O'hanas and of course the Wedding which was incredibly romantic and perfect in every way. In the evening there was a private dessert party at the garden at the UK in Epcot and watched Illuminations.... Wow!!

I can't begin to tell you how wonderful it all was, Sam looked radiant and soooo beautiful and Paul was a very dashing and handsome groom.

It was lovely to meet up with 'old' friends from here .... Penny & Simon, Joe and also to meet Chris and Beth from the Dis - us seven had a ball!! And also to meet up with some of Sam and Paul's family from England and also their many American friends.

I'll let Sam tell you all about it and post pictures - I have loads here but have no idea how to upload them!

Pete has already caught the WDW bug and we're already toying with the idea of hiring a villa for us all next year .... hey ho .... so much for this being my final vist for a few years!!!

Glad you had such a great time Astrid.

I knew the wedding was taking place on Thursday and we just happened to come walking out of the Beach Club after having breakfast at Cape May Cafe when I spotted the sign mentioning Sam and Paul by name.

As for repeat visits, I know exactly what you mean. We said this would be our last trip for 18 months/2 years, but same time next year is sooo tempting

Welcome back Astrid - I can tell from your post how elated you feel from having such a wonderful week!

I'm thrilled for Sam that it was all so perfect and she should feel very proud that she made it so special for everyone else too

It sounds absolutely magical and I can't tell you how envious I am!

Paul already posted a couple of pictures. Sam looks amazing. I can't wait to see more. The private dessert party at Epcot sounds incredible, too.

We were so thrilled that so many of our friends made it to the US and WDW for our wedding and we can't thank all of our guests enough for making it such a special time for us - we really wanted it to be as much a good time and celebration for our guests aswell as ourselves.

So I'm so pleased that you both had a ball Astrid {{{{hugs}}}} and I can't wait to see you again soon.

The funniest thing is that it's the first wedding I've been to where I didn't drink more than 2 glasses There was just so much going on I never had time LOL
