We got back yesterday from a BCV trip. We usually stay at the BWV (home resort). I will list a few of our thoughts

1) BCV are very nice. We had stayed before at the BC & YC so we were familiar with the area. We had a dedicated 2 BR that was at the very end of a wing, near the entrance.
2) We loved the villa christmas tree but was disappointed in the BC tree. It did not match the hotel decor. We had visited before and the tree had shells and pastel ornaments with a mermaid on the top. This year it was done in bright red! The tree was pretty but we didn't think it belonged at the BC. The YC tree matched it's decor by having sailing shipd on it.
3) Sofabeds were not as comfortable as at BW. We had 3 different adults sleeping on them during this trip and we all agreed that the sofas at BWV were better.
4) Walk to EPCOT is great!
5) We got to WDW late Friday night so we had reserved a room at Riverside for the night. In the morning we asked about our choices for getting to the BCV. They were very nice and provided us with a ride to the BCV! They loaded our stuff and us into a van and dropped us right off at the BC.

Terribelle,

Thanks for the report!!!

Do you like BWV or BCV for a 2-bedroom? If you have a choice, which one would you choose?

Thanks

Where did you stay at riverside and did you like it? We are staying there 2 nts in May before moving to BWV for 6 nts to save on pts and to see the other resorts.:bounce: :bounce:

luckytso - I asked the family which they liked better. My husband likes the action on the boardwalk. Of course our last trip we stayed in a Grand Villa so we looked right out over the boardwalk and watched people at night and the fireworks! My kids love SAB so they liked the BCV. I haven't made up my mind yet. There are things I like about both! We are hoping to try WLV next time.

paults - We were not at Riverside long enough to make a real opinion. I do have to say that the CMs there were all great! They were very friendly and helpful at check-in. We got free mickey straws and free drinks at the food court and the CM that arranged for us and our stuff to be moved to BCV was wonderful. The CMs here really seemed to go the extra effort. The CMs at the BCV were ok but not outstanding. No special effort. The person that checked us in was easily confused. We asked if we got anything if we used AE. She said no! I asked about the free pins and then she "remembered".

My kids I guess are really spoiled. They have gotten use to the luxury hotels! They did not like Riverside. They did not like how isolated it was. We had to walk a long way to our room. They prefer the hotels that have a central lobby instead of all the little buildings. I can see how some people might like the isolated feeling but my family prefers the action. It worked out great for one night and we saved our points.
