Back from Wonderland:wAlice,Madhatter,ChesCat&White Rabbit 11/11Thank You

:yay: The larger pictures look great! We've never yet done Tusker House which is odd because Donald is a favorite of Alex's and Ariana adores Daisy.

Our family likes AK, but each time we've gone, its always been so blasted hot that we've just not been able to enjoy ourselves. Now if we get back in December 2010...... :rolleyes1

Yay for larger photos! :woohoo:

I really really want to go to Tusker House and I just got 3.0 all figured out! :rolleyes1

I wish they would finish the Beastly part of AK too. It would be really awesome. So would a boat from AKL!

Yay for larger pictures!!!

I love the pictures of Tusker House. Tom and I decided to add it for December even though the kids won't be with us. The food looks yummy, and I love the idea of empty park pictures!

Denise

Okay you are way too hard on yourself about pictures...those pictures looked amazing!!!!! I'm glad you were able to figure photobucket out and have larger pictures!!!!

Thank you so much for sharing your Tusker House breakfast with us. I can't wait to eat there on my birthday! I'm so looking forward to that buffet!!!!

I have to agree with you I would love to see them add on that Fantastical animal part to the AK, but I do love the park just the way that it is!!!

Another great update, you leave me anxiously awaiting more!!

GREAT pictures! Thank you. I've been wondering about what has changed and what hasn't since it was at Restaurantosaurus. It's always been a must-do for us, but we haven't been back since it was moved to TH. Now I know. Looking forward to it even more!!!

I have that shirt that Rabbit is wearing for Will. I got the Mickey one for Christian. (Cole has the Pluto one, but as he's not going now...his mom has it for him). I asked them all one day who their favorite characters were planning to make them shirts...Will said Goofy, Christian said Mickey, Cole said Pluto. So I ordered shirts. Disney did all the work for me. :thumbsup2

Looking forward to hearing about EE. It is the one thing I'm somewhat worried about on this trip. Not the ride itself, but whether or not Christian will actually be 44" (probably not, but I'm still keeping my fingers crossed). He's not going to be happy if he can't go. Thank goodness it's the only 44" requirement (except for Space Mountain, which is closed, and Mission Space which I'm not allowing either of them on).

Glad you were able to get the pictures larger. :cool1:

Great photos!! Looks like you had a great breakfast at Tusker House! I can't wait to go there next month! It looks like a lot of fun!!

great start to you day w/ a pre-park opening bfast w/ Donald and friends at AK :thumbsup2

and I love your larger photos...:yay:

I would like to do that bfast too maybe next year, it sounds so cool to walk up thru AK w/ it being Empty and Michael would love seeing Donald.

does he interact a little w/ you at the start? or just really pose, click and next.... :confused3

looking forward to more!

Your bigger pictures look fantastic!

Love your idea of a boat ride from AKL to AK -- that would be fabulous!

Wait a second...you now take a photo with Donald before you are seated??? That's new since June -- when we were there, it was a picture with a bunch of masks...I can't wait to see your Photopass picture with Donald! :goodvibes

Mmmmm, how I adore the food at Tusker House!

Hooray for pics! They are fabulous!!! Can't wait to see where you got that yummy drink!

I know, I know, really slow but thanks for the tour of NYC! I've never been before and think it would be a really fun place to visit based upon your time spend there!
Back to reading....:surfweb:

Oh my gosh! A double upgrade?!? You must be living right!:goodvibes
Back to read.......

Sorry for all the posts but it's getting late and taking notes would slow me down.:lmao:
Very cute Alice earrings! I love Peter Pan's Flight at well, especially flying over London. I agree Piglet is tooo big and tooo pink!
You really do need to get to 1900 Park Fare for breakfast one of these days!

Back to read.....

Sorry again, I'm all caught up! Whew! It is still late but for some reason I'm hungry for bacon.....
Sorry White Rabbit wasn't fond of HM, at times it freaks me out a little too. I'm sure he will learn to love it as he gets a bit older.
Great choices on the Mickey ears!
Yummy Jiko! Maybe next June.....
Love the larger pictures and you have really pretty hair!

LOVE the larger photos!:thumbsup2

My, but you have a good looking family - the one of your DH smiling is GREAT! Do we ever get to see one of you with a full smile?

Can't wait for more!

Mrs. Spratt

Wow - lots of great amazing updates! All caught up now. I'm glad you figured out how to make the pictures larger. I think they changed the options or something, as I was having the same problem!

DH really likes AK as well. We used to see it as a half day park, but there really is so much to see and explore when you look deeper at it.

Tusker house looked yummy! Maybe DH would be willing to try it for breakfast since he swore he'd never go back there again after lunch a couple of years ago.

I tried to respond to your update last night but a certain little 2 year old hit something when I was almost finished and deleted it!!!

So I'm giving it another try!

Sounds like you had a great afternoon at MK! I love the ears!

Sitting on the balcony at AKL with an ice tea and a good book sounds like absolute heaven :cloud9:

Your dinner and Jiko sounds lovely! Although I completely agree with you about all the dining experiences, I really can get to be too much!! Sometimes sitting on Main Street with a hot dog from Casey's is much more enjoyable after a long day!

I love your little preview of your AKL photoshot!! We did it at WL in January and I LOVE the pictures we got from it! I can't wait to see more!!

My baby is 7 so he doesn't do that so much anymore but I do have a cat who is needy and feels entitled and for some reason she assumes computer time is cat love time...not always with the best outcomes for either of us...:confused3

Sigh...I wouldn't mind sitting on that balcony right now...:cloud9:

Jiko is awesome but I love Casey's...can't beat a good hot dog and the location and seating is amazingly fun...

Oh there are plenty more AKL photo shoot shots...:lmao:

I'm gonna need a Shanghai Express of my very own! YUM

I must say that the SE was pretty tasty :thumbsup2...

Liking the name and looks of The Shanghai Express! :thumbsup2

Emily's skirt is very cute and perfect for a day at Animal Kingdom -- where did she get it?

Yes and I liked the looks of your, hm...wasn't it called a Lost on Safari?...:lmao:

Thank you-I convinced her to get that skirt earlier in the summer-It's from American Apparel...

yeah for larger photos!!! :cool1::cool1: I am impressed!! But too tired for any good comments on your post. Will follow up with that later

I aim to please...;) Get some rest...see you in a bit...

:woohoo: for larger pictures. They look great! I didn't realize they now had Donald acting as host at Tusker House. When we went (which was January 2008) our picture was taken by some African motif (I didn't buy it so I don't quite remember what it was.) Donald then greeted us at the meal just like everyone else. Anyone know when this changed? Anyway, I love those Safari outfits too:thumbsup2 They just all look so cute in them, especially Daisy. Can't wait to hear about Everestpopcorn::

I have a good photo of Donald and us at the beginning...WE "bought" the Photo so have a hard copy of it...I have to check our photopass CD...The Safari outfits are so cute...:thumbsup2

Everest...very interesting...;)

:yay: The larger pictures look great! We've never yet done Tusker House which is odd because Donald is a favorite of Alex's and Ariana adores Daisy.

Oh you should go to TH when you get back (in 2010...;) ) Daisy is so cute-Ariana would love her...and I like Alex, love Donald too-he and Hatter have some very similar characteristics...

AK was hot...very hot...December would be the perfect time to really enjoy it without melting...:thumbsup2

Yay for larger photos! :woohoo:

I really really want to go to Tusker House and I just got 3.0 all figured out! :rolleyes1

I wish they would finish the Beastly part of AK too. It would be really awesome. So would a boat from AKL!

You really would enjoy Tusker House on your AKL day...hmmm...3.0 we barely knew you...RIP...:lmao:

Seriously-if you haven't done this CB -its a good one...:thumbsup2

I know I would love if they finished the Beastly part too...so many awesome possibilities...

Yay for larger pictures!!!

I love the pictures of Tusker House. Tom and I decided to add it for December even though the kids won't be with us. The food looks yummy, and I love the idea of empty park pictures!

Denise

Good for you...plenty of adults are there without kiddos...you'll actually get a chance to pay attention to what you're eating...:lmao:

The park is so beautiful early in the morning without the crowds...:thumbsup2

Ok I know I've droned on long enough about my pictures...so I won't say it anymore...I'll just think it...:rolleyes1

Great way to start your B-Day...:goodvibes

Oh don't get me wrong I love it the way it is too...but can you just imagine the possibilities...

GREAT pictures! Thank you. I've been wondering about what has changed and what hasn't since it was at Restaurantosaurus. It's always been a must-do for us, but we haven't been back since it was moved to TH. Now I know. Looking forward to it even more!!!

We did it back when it was Restaurantosaurus and I liked it then too...I just like even better now...

Isn't the cotton in those shirts super soft...I think they're cute and feel wonderful...:cloud9:

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you too...it's a awesome albeit intense experience...I hope Christian gets his wish...:goodvibes

Great photos!! Looks like you had a great breakfast at Tusker House! I can't wait to go there next month! It looks like a lot of fun!!
party:Lots of Fun...

great start to you day w/ a pre-park opening bfast w/ Donald and friends at AK :thumbsup2

looking forward to more!
He does do a little interaction but since they have everyone coming in to the breakfast lining up to take photos its limited...(kinda like you said...but a little better...:lmao:)

the characters inside are more animated...:thumbsup2

the walk through the nearly empty park is almost worth the ressie itself...:goodvibes

All caught up! So you got sucked into the ear making vortex too, huh? The kids did a great job with their picks.

Ice tea, a balcony and a good book=:cloud9:

ITA re: Animal Kingdom, although the heat does sometimes suck all reasonable or creative thought from my body. Tusker House intrigues me. It's now on my ever growing restaurant list for next time.:thumbsup2

Oh, thanks for the preview of your photo shoot. Based on the sample, I can't wait to see the rest!:goodvibes
