Back from the parks

Hi all - just wanted to say we had a great time at the parks. We were there March 1 - 5. The weekend was a little crowded due to a big dance competition, huge mobs of girls everywhere. Ironically, this is what I was taking a break from, as both my kids are competitors and we are right in the midst of comp. season. Oh well, LOL!

I was thrilled that all the effects were working on Spiderman. The last four visits, some effect or other wasn't working. This time, the spider signal, the rats (my absolute favorite) and everything else was working all four or five times we rode.

We did MIB about five times too, and I couldn't break 350,000 - horrible!! But we all had fun trying. Hubby did much better than me.

It was pouring on Sat. night and we just weren't brave enough to do Mardi Gras. It was very disappointing. I knew my husband, son and I would be fine wet and cold, but my little girl, just would have been miserable. I guess we will just have to return next year! Happy to answer any questions!

Yes we went on once. It was a walkon at about 5:00 on a Thursday night. I really wanted to try both tracks, but only one was open. I really want to go on the one that goes through the restaurant - is it very different from the other one?

yep.....story you hear on ride is different too..... "different" as in DD....look the same, but a little bit different (scenery and such) you must ride both tracks....tell DH you HAVE to go back so you can ride the other track!

I think the one that doesn't go inside is the ABC's but I'm not certain.

The one that doesn't go through the restaurant is the ABC one, I remember for sure. I guess I will have to go back and ride the other track!

yes, at 50% capacity....so, chances are, lines will be long

We were there Mar 2-5th also. The dancers were everywhere! We got caught in the rain in Seussville and stood next to the closed Green eggs and Ham building for like 20 minutes waiting for it to let up. We went to Nascar and it was very nice. I hadn't been there before so I can't give you a before/after point of view but it was very classy, much like NBA city inside but not as loud.

Hi! Back to the Future was running while we were there, I didn't ride it though, I always get slammed around.

We didn't eat at NASCAR - my son really wanted to, but we stuck to our usual, Margaritaville! I am just getting my son's pictures up and he has one picture of his dinner one night there. Yes, there are some very bizzare pictures in there!!
