Back from the EKG/cardiologist Karissa needs a monitor

the Drs appt is tomorrow so we will know more then.
The tech said that from what he could see the sinus rythym was ok but her rate was high.
The appt itself was traumatic as usual with her. going to go watch UP with them now. Will update more when I know more

Well, they have now ordered her a monitor that she will have to wear, they want to do a 30 day test so that they can try to figure out if its her heart that is causing her dizzy spells.

He also said it may be puberty induced seizures, which are pretty common in Neuro kids. So again we are left with more questions than answers BUT the good news is they dont believe it is life threatening.


They were able to get her blood pressure with only TWO of us holding her down lol we have never been able to get that before so that was an improvement.

Oh Robin, I am glad you got a few answers about Karissa. I hope the tests go well. I assume this will all be done before you move. Also praying that in Denver you can find some specialists who might be able to shed some light and help you with Karissas dx. Blessings to you all always.
