First off THANKS! to all of you who helped and answered all of my questions before hand.
Second--I found the old Disney hospitality I had missed--guess it all moved over to Universal! Very organized, very helpful and not understaffed! I could go on and on about this.
Finally, we had the best time ever. I totally rode everything--usually I am worried that I won't fit so just skip out on stuff but since my lapband I have gone from a 24 to a 14 so I easily fit in everything with no worries. I had a blast and I loved being able to do everything that my 16 yo dd wanted to do. We stayed at RPH and enjoyed every minute. Did early entry HP all four mornings rode FJ 7 times total--5 times regular line and 2 times single rider. I am still in awe of how very well this was done. 3 Broomsticks was ok, hey I don't eat much so I survive on DD's table scraps--I did manage a whole cauldron cake over the course of a day though--dang those were yummy! It totally blew my mind how people were lined up for the ability to spend money--shows that they did something right here! We liked the frozen butterbeer better than the regular. I loved the pumpkin juice as well. DD and her BFF were walking past the train with their frozen butter beer when the conductor tapped them on the shoulder and gave them a lesson in how to properly drink butterbeer--hilarious!
The other mom's budget was a bit tighter than mine, so I gave up a few of the places I would have preferred to eat at. I missed out on Mythos which is very sad and after DD and I gave rave reviews of the trip to DH, he approved a do over for next year so long as he gets to go too!
I never thought I would say this, but I am kind of bummed that I have a 12 night Disney vacation followed by a 4 night Dream cruise and I can't fit another side trip to US/IOA into the mix because of a college visit crammed in between the two!
Any questions feel free to ask, I will respond if I can!
