so, Dean, are you saying that it's not worth it to exchange for any of the Vegas resorts?

There are lots of places to look. The CA Sunday papers are a great option I hear. Also many online sites but it's been a while since I went looking. They are harder to find than they once were I'm told. And yes, I'm saying it's not worth trading DVC points for LV.

How was the pool on the 22nd floor? Was it just a plain old pool? Did it have a really nice atmosphere?

It was a normal pool, jacuizzi,no diving board or slide. They did have about 10-12 cabanas to lay out on besides lounge chairs and tables.A little larger than an OKW quiet pool. There was no deep end, most of the pool was 4 foot deep.
There was a grill set up by the pool.

I was fortunate to attend a business seminar in May. My wife came with me and we stayed at Bally's.

I agree that everyone should do Vegas at least once. But though I woudn't take my kids, there are things for kids to do.

Not to be preachy, but when we were there I remember thinking again and again " This town is amazing, it markets to Lust, Greed, and Gluttony." It ain't called Sin City for nothing.

As long as you have self restraint, it is quite a remarkable and enjoyable town.

Peace

Nick and Cindy Glad you enjoyed your trip.:) There is a lot more to do than gaming out here off the strip. You missed the serious heat. July was the hottest on record. Glad we were in FL to cool off.;)
