Back from our trip-3/19 to 3/26

Hi everyone! This is my 1st report so please bear with me. My friend, my son & I just spent 8 days in both Universal & Disney World, with the majority of the trip being spent in Disney. Other than the crowd our trip was great! I won't go into our stay at Universal much but I will say that by staying on site and being able to use your room key to by-pass the line is the best thing! We didn't wait in line once. Anyway we stayed at the Caribbean Beach resort (our 2nd time staying there) and had park hopper tickets. We also got the meal plan, which worked out very well. We figured we saved over $200 using this plan eating at the restaurants we chose-Boma, Rose & Crown, Sci-Fi Theater & Ohana. I can't really say anything negative about any of those places. Boma & Ohana was great. I took the advice of one of you great members and requested a window seat at Ohana and was able to see the fireworks. We had no troubles using the plan-all the cast members knew exactly what we were talking about and what foods we could get. The rest of the trip was without troubles too but I will say that our next trip won't be during Spring Break. The parks were so crowded Friday we went back to the hotel and swam. That's about it for my report-I could go on forever but I won't bore anyone this time. Can't wait for our next trip!!

I heard the crowds leading to Easter were pretty big. Do you think this week is just as crowded? We are going in 2 years and I thought about going before the week of Easter, instead of after Easter.

We've been earlier in March before and the crowds weren't near as bad as they were last week. The traffic was bad Saturday (3/26) going in the direction of Orlando so my guess would be that this week might be bad too. My son is in year round school so we will plan a different time of year next time. I hear September isn't bad.
