So we checked into the hotel. Now I took a couple of risks with this hotel cause i liked the guys and their attitude to our wedding. It turns out from them that they liked our laid back attitude to everything which made the whole planning process real easy for both sides.
The first risk I took was I didnt try our food before the day - and i know that you all think im mad and you are probably right, but we were incredibly lucky as the boys listened and gave us exactly what we asked for!!
The second risk I took was our room - I didnt get a chance to see the room before we checked in as its incredibly popular, but i took the risk and BOY did it pay off. Here is the room...
And more importantly the bath....
When we got in there was a bucket of champagne in the room and music already playing (they had edited the playlist i gave them for the reception to give us a highlights of our favourite tunes which really set off the right atmosphere) Id like to say that we jumped straight into the spabath but we filled that full of sunflowers so made do with sitting on the balcony looking out over the beach!!
As I said we spent the afternoon at various hairdressers appointments and pampering treatments which was cool but then got back together for a family meal - the first time that the two families had got together.
We have a chef here in the UK called Jamie Oliver - who is kinda our idol and he has opened an italian restaurant in Brighton that i managed to get us reservations for. This was a big deal for us, and it was also my brothers birthday, which made it extra special. We had an amazing meal of italian meats, olives and mozzeralla followed by softchell crab and linguine and of course birthday cake!! We were both trying to make sure we fit into our suits so shared portions (which is sooo not us) and despite some embarrassing incidents we had an amazing time.
The Prossecco was flowing and soon out came some of the presents... which led to the following embarrassing pictures...
My Fiance The Dazzler!!!
My brother The Lawyer!!!
My Mother The Part time alcoholic!!!
needless to say a fun time was had by most.....and it really set the scene for the following day!!!
