Just back this afternoon from a mini-vacation at AllStar Music & absolutely loved it. We hadn't been there in forever but I'm so glad we changed there after our not so magical experience at Pop in September. Check in was a breeze on Monday (MLK Day), got the perfect room - standard in the Jazz Building (9). Closer to the food court & busses than our Preferred room was at POP. Nice quiet location - end room near parking lot - ground floor. I couldn't have chosen a better room for DH & I if I'd walked around looking....
Lots of activities going on all the time around the main pool. They had a dance contest going one night, BINGO, and they were showing movies out at the pool last night. This was something new for us to see & it was great.
Our room was refurbished and we loved the curtain across the sink area in the room. It really did make a difference. We were able to peek in the window of an unoccupied family suite near us & those looked interesting too.
Our only downside the whole time we were there was the family next to us coming in after 10pm last night & their kids screaming to be let into the room. Then this morning between 5am & 6am they decided to flip the lock out so that they didn't have to use a key & constantly slammed their door. Granted I wanted to get to the MK early this morning, but not that early!!
All in all, I'd definitely recommend this resort to anyone that wants a quieter value resort than POP. We had no trouble with the bus transportation any day. They were very quick & only packed one morning going to the Animal Kingdom & we went to all 4 parks while we were there. Food court was great & so was the shopping area.
Can't wait to go again..................
