Hello all,

We just returned from our first stay in a studio and our first stay at VWL.

All I have to say is WOW!!!!! We are very impressed with VWL. We have stayed at the WL before, but never with DVC. The studio was spacious, comfortable and decorated beautifully.

We were very impresses with the entrance way into the villa building. The lobby area with the fireplace and sitting area's was and unexpected treat. It made us wish that we were staying more than one night.

The holiday decorations were as beautiful as ever. The garland hanging on the rafters of the covered walkway going to the Villa building was our favorite.

Mickey's Christmas Party was as fun as ever. I love the park at night. The lines were non-existant, the parade was great and the hot chocolate was chocolatey.

MVMCP is by far my favorite time at the Magic Kingdom, I highly suggest making the trip to Florida just to take part in it.

So far we have stayed in a 1 br at BWV (loved it) and a studio at VWL (loved it), we haven't yet stayed overnight at our home, OKW. I'm a little worried that after have two wonderful stays at other DVC resorts OKW won't be able to stand up to our expectations.

To all other OKW owners, Please reaffirm my belief that "Old Key West Rules".

Frank

We are at VWL right now and I 2nd your sentiments about the studios and the entrance to the villas and everything about DVC. We are going to MVMCP tonight and cant wait. Never been before so we are very excited. I have never seen OKW but seeing all the posts about it sounds like you wont be dissapointed. We own at VWL so to throw in a little friendly competition:

VWL RULES!!!!!

We stayed in the VWL last summer (1 br) for a few nights and then the rest of our stay at OKW in a 1 br for 5 nights and while we all agreed VWL is nice to try, NOTHING beats OKW. When you stay there the first time, you will see what everyone is talking about. You'll probably only want to "visit" the other resorts after your OKW stay! I've stayed in them all except vero and BCV (we own at okw and hh).

We own at OKW and VWL and they're both very relaxing getaways.

We were at VWL last year during the holiday season and I know what you mean about the decorations. It doesn't stop with the main bldg., the villas are equally as gorgeous.

I don't think you can go wrong by staying at any DVC resort.

We're die-hard VWL fans, having stayed at WL a half dozen times before we joined DVC, and passing up a chance for a BWV add on to wait for our VWL add on. That said, we stayed at OKW last May (after a fantastic 5 nights at VWL) and would go there again in a heartbeat. The peacefulness is great, and the space is phenomenal! I still think I'd prefer VWL around the holidays and in the winter, but can't wait to go back to OKW also.

We're so lucky to have these choices!

I think OKW is wonderful a definate great place to stay during the warm swim season, but during the holidays, VWL should be incredible, we stayed at the WL during a VERY VERY VERY COLD November and rocking in the chairs in front of the fire was incredible, you almost forgot where you were!!!!
