I read your trip report and enjoyed it. I'm just curious if you had problems at all with bugs at the ports and in the evenings. I sent DH to buy some bug spray this morning because of some reports I had read earlier, but he came home with a tiny bottle I'm just wondering how necessary it may or may not be.

While the bugs weren't outrageous, there were misquitos in all ports. I didn't notice them on the ship, but son, who is mildly allergic to misquitos, was bit several times each place. We did not take any bug repellent, but wish we would have.

Mexico was hot, hot, hot, except Puerto Vallarta, which started out rainy and was only in the lower 80s at the hottest. First day out of LA was chilly, we all wore jackets and pants. It wasn't so cold it ruined the day, but it would have been nicer to be warmer. The ship was extremely cold all days, in our opinion.

Was there a live band onboard?

Live band was, as always, Soul Drive.
