We have been back now for 1 week and I thought it was time I share the highlights of our wonderful cruise:

Embarkation was great. It was very quick. We were on board by 12:30 the latest. I went straight away to get Palo ressies. We got the day we wanted which was Wed.and we also got brunch for Monday which we decided not to do as we did not feel like leaving the pool to get dressed. From there I went to Vista Spa for hair appts., pedicure and cabana massage. I got everything I wanted at exactly the time I wanted

The weather was great the whole time. The waters were quite rough on Thursday. We gad gail force winds and 14 ft waves which to me was pretty bad. My son had to leave dinner 2 nights because the restaurants were at the back of the ship and he could feel it . It wasnt that bad the other days. We did have to turn around after leaving Grand Cayman as there was an ill passenger. They did not announce it though. The shows were great. The first night was a magician the kids liked but I thought i could live without seeing him again. Disney dreams was excellent as was golden Mickeys. The pool seemed to be the only thing that was dissappointing. Very crowded on sea days because the Mickey pool was closed half the time due to parents putting babies in without diapers. So therefore the goofy pool was packed. The adult pool was heaven. My dd spent more time at the kids program than my ds. She had a little girl the same age at our table and the two of them went together. DS 10 went twice but that was alright he waw quite happy with us and spending time in the arcade. His favorite activities were the arcade and bingo. Never did room service but our servers(joyce and david) were excellent when either my husband or i left with my son without dinner they orderded a new meal and delivered it to our room for whoevers turn it was to take him. I missed the mexican buffet and the dessert buffet - too tired and full. Palos was great but i prefer less fancy food. The atmosphere was great but i think my husband enjoyed the food better. My favorite thing was the cabana massage on cc. That is a must if you like massages. I will do this again next time for sure.
We really are having a hard time back in Canada with our wet cool weather and we wish we were back with Mickey and Minnie.

Thx for sharing! Tell us more about Bingo? How was the jackpot? Who was running Bingo? Did you win?

Yes my ds won $123. He was thrilled. The jackpot was won on Thursday it was$5000. Andrea and Chip ran the Bingo and ds loved them.He thought Chip was great.

I'm sorry this isn't a true fact. I know for a fact that the pool was closed once due to the fact that an at LEAST 8 year old threw up in the pool (I witnessed it). I was on the same cruise and the Mickey pool was disgusting just like the goofy pool. I own a pool and I think, the main problem is sun tan lotion. The pool just got gross after a while. With that many people in a pool it is going to throw off the clarity of the water. That is what our pool looks like after we have a party with 50 or more people. The pool was not designed to hold that many people. Personally, I did not let my kids swim in the pool unless it was clean JMHO....

I was also on the same cruise and most of the time that the Mickey Pool was closed it was due to a toddler or infant accident in it. There was the one instance with the kid throwing up, but other than that it was irresponsible/inconsiderate parents.

The goofy pool was disgusting and crowded the whole time. I agree it was probably the influx of suntan lotion, but if I can't see the bottom of a pool I have no desire to go in it. The adult pool was great though.
