back from gktw

got back dec 5 after spending three weeks doing disney.
we had a week in gktw village and for anyone going its fab.
just posted to say thanks for everyones help here.
my daughter who is now nine and hopefully clear of leukemia had the time of her life. thanks again

Hey Tink!
My family was at GKTW Nov14-20th ~ wish we could have met up. I knew to look for you from a previous post but we didn't get to make a plan to accomplish that. I did see many people at GKTW that had the accent and wondered if any were you or your family. There was so much to do wasn't there? The village is lovely and they were all so very kind. We didn't get in a game of golf and that was one of our top things to do. I hope we can visit Orlando again someday and if we do we will be visiting GKTW and get that golf in LOL. This was our very first vacation and goodness did we love WDW!!! It was truly magical and the Christmas decor made it even more beautiful. MGM was amazing with the Osborne Family lights! Ooooh I wanna go again this year!!
If you have your pics online and are willing to share I'd love to see them. Wouldn't it be funny if we were in each others pics at GKTW? lol
Sadly 2 of our rolls of film did NOT turn out and I am so heartbroken! They can't be replaced.
Even with that tragedy we still had a wonderful time and made many beautiful memories. Glad you are home safe and sound.

Thats great for the both of you and your families.We took our son 4 years ago to gktw when MAW gave him a wish.It was the best thing in the world.Now the MLF just gave him a wish and you know We picked disney and gktw again so we will be going back in oct for his new wish.We cant wait.

Glad to hear you all had good times.
When we arrived in Orlando on 12/29, we saw 2 GKTW greeters with signs to signal the families they were to meet. I thougt about those families all the time we were in Orlando (we got back to Minnesota on 1/3/07). I hoped they were able to do OK despite the rain that we had most of the time we were in Orlando.

GKTW is an AMAZING place to stay. It was 1994 when I stayed there but I will never forget it! When I did the CP in 2005 I went back just to visit again and let me tell you they were still as nice as ever. They encourage previous guests to come back for a visit. I would love to get a job or volunteer down there but I have to move there first!!!
