Hi everyone,

Well we're back home, depressed and cold! Been trying to pack away our dozens of souvenirs (I worked out how much I spent on scrapbooking supplies alone earlier - $128.32!) Had a brilliant time in Orlando, we did the 4 Disney parks several times each, both Disney water parks, Disneyquest, Universal and IOA, Titanic and a lot of shopping! The two flights weren't great. Both took off on time and arrived early but on the outgoing some idiot got drunk and started hitting his daughter and swearing like I've never heard (the police were waiting upon arrival at Sanford) and on the return we had the most terrifying turbulance I've ever felt. Our meals were sliding off the trays and at one point the plane dropped several feet, absolutely petrifying for me as I'm scared of flying!

On the good side my birthday was brilliant - we did all four Disney parks on the day and finished off at Downtown! Lovely meal at the Plaza. A few days earlier Scott's dad volunteered on the backlot tour - he ended up being the engineer that gets 1000 gallons of water poured over him - easily the best home video of the trip! I also managed to conquor one of my nemises' from last year - Space Mountain! The number of coasters I can cope with has increased from 2 last year to 7 this year!

I have lots of notes so you can expect the trippies to begin this week once I've got myself organised and am back to the world of the living! 666Mb of pictures and about 5 hours of video also needs organising - could be fun! Can't wait to go again, we worked out that it's just under 48 weeks if we get to go when we want next year. Better start planning really!

This is going to be an interesting read when you get the time to do your trippies - Im gonna get the chocolate, hot coffee and comfy cushion ready for the event. Welcome home, glad to hear you had a lot of fun and excitement. :flower:

Welcome back, cant wait to read your trip reports! :Pinkbounc

So glad you had a great time. We got to do the show on the backlot tour in 2001 (myself, DH and my BIL) but SIL didn't know how to work the camcorder so no video.

Where are you planning to stay next year?

Welcome home.

Susan

We'll most likely be back in the timeshare next year as Scott's parents don't plan to use it. Of course it's a long way off yet so things could easily change. We need to have made final decisions on whether we're using it by Christmas so it can be booked or banked as necessary. Only two months til we book again basically!

Welcome back - looking forward to your report.

Welcome Back ~ Sounds as though you had a fantastic time. Can't wait for the trip reports.

I know I shouldn't be asking this, but DW has me in a half Nelson and wants me to ask you where you got your scrapbooking supplies from. Looks like I'm going to be bankrupt in 6 months :scared: :faint:

Welcome home
looking foward to the TR
