After a long drive, we finally arrived home about 10:30 last night. Incredible 4 days at DLP and we had a great time.
Trip report to follow soon, but for now here's a few highs and lows:

High's
1. My DD (1 yr old) meeting (and loving) the characters. Weirdly Buzz was her favourite although Donald was a very close second
2. Photo-pass+. Brilliant system and we got loads of photos through it. It's a lot to pay out at the start but well worth it and I'd recommend it to anyone
3. Chez Remy. What more can I say but Wow!

Low's
1. Character Breakfast at Cafe Mickey. 8 characters came out and only 2 made it to our table! It didn't help with loads of people leaving their tables to get photos with them but the CM's didn't seem bothered. I complained but was pretty much told that 'it's just the way it is'
2. Blue Lagoon kids meal. We had HB+ and we were really disappointed with the options for the kids. Once DD found out she'd been given some form of fish eggs, she didn't eat much. We should have checked the menu a bit more closely but one of those things and we had some McDonald Happy Meals to make up for it

Welcome back, I'll look forward to reading your trip report as we too returned yesterday (arrived Sunday) so will be extra interested in your perspective. We had a brilliant time and the weather just got better each day with Thursday fantastic. I think we both chose a good week, good weather, low crowds and a great Christmas atmosphere! Where did you stay? We were in HNY.

Glad you enjoyed the characters, we too have some lovely PhotoPass+ pictures. Weren't the costumes lovely?

Leaving is always a low but our normally 4-hour drive home turned into 6 hours with heavy traffic all through the Paris area which made it that much worse.

Must do the washing now! :laundy:

i am about to book for christmas 2016 in the HNY, i await your trip reports with eager anticipation

@cherrymarzipan We were in the Cheyenne which was lovely and perfect for the kids. You're right, the weather was beautiful. Freezing all day Monday when we arrived but I was practically in a t-shirt for the rest of the week and we only got wet walking back to the hotel from Chez Remy on Tuesday night.
The whole atmosphere was incredible and although a few of the big rides were closed, the place was still buzzing

@eeyorefanuk With my job, I have permanent world wide travel insurance for me and the family which covers everything that you could think of happening.
