Hi~
Hubby and I flew to Orlando for a little weekend getaway. Spent Friday at Universal and crowds were low and we were able to get on everything with in 10 minutes. It got busier later in the evening and waits were closer to 30 minutes. We had an old hopper that we were able to use and went to MK, AK and Epcot on Saturday. It was pretty darn crowded. An attendant told us that there were 56,000 people at the MK. Fast pass worked great and we really were able to do most everything we wanted to do in one day at three parks. Had crowds been a little smaller we would of enjoyed going to MGM just to ride the TOT and Aerosmith. Thanks for all who helped me with my questions before we went especially about using our passes from 1997. We were able to use our original pass until we went to Animal Kingdom. There we had to exchange out ticket since the barcode was printed prior to Animal Kingdom and could not be read at the turnstyle. The attendant at the turnstyle was confused as to why our pass did not work and tried to turn us away from the park...went to guest services and it took less than one minute to get issued a new pass at no charge.
By the way we stayed at the DoubleTree at the entrance of Universal. Very nice oversized room with a King Size bed and couch for $48.00 per night on Hotwire. Great location. Good restaurants near by. Any questions about anything regarding our trip, please let me know and again thanks to everyone.
