I wanted to update everyone who still had some questions about larger groups and using the FP option after 11pm. I had 3 vouchers to use total.

We used our first voucher at EPCOT. We got to Epcot at opening and used 1 voucher for the FP option. I used my daughter's voucher. They asked to see her Birth Certificate and then they asked how many were in my group and I told them 9. She called a supervisor over who just entered a code in the computer (I guess to override the 6 person rule) and they collected all the tickets to scan for the FP cards. 3 family members were not present at the time but that didn't matter because we had their tickets in hand and that is all they needed. Later on that day the other three family members joined us and we used the FPs. It was soooo AWESOME! :woohoo:

The next day we got to Hollywood Studios at about 1:30. I walked right up to the Will Call and told her I wanted the FP option and used my husband's voucher. She told me everyone in the family could get a FP card with his voucher. She would just need to see his ID and need everyone's tickets. Once again not needing to see everyone in the group just their tickets. We each got a card and had soooo much fun using them.

Many times when I printed off the FPs say like at the Tower of Terror not everyone wanted to ride. So I would have extra. So I just gave them to a family of 4 or 3 standing at the end of the regular line (However many I had left). The wait at RnR was 90 minutes long and I had 3 FP extra. I just turned to the line and said is there a group of 3. A group of three raised their hands and I just gave them the extra passes. They couldn't believe it. While in the FP line one of the boys from the group of 3 asked me to sign my autograph in his book because he said I deserved to be in it for what I had just did. :lmao: I felt really good!!

I used my last voucher at the Magic Kingdom at about 1:00 to get the Figurine!! I really wanted it and had to sacrifice the FP option for it. But it was totally worth it. It is the cutest little thing!!

All in all the FP option is great. Especially if you have late risers in the morning. You can actually sleep in and get FPs when you get there. I loved that! My husband was in awww LOL! Well, I hope I helped someone out there. Have fun!!

Thanks for the report! Good to know that they were still giving out the FPs vouchers in the afternoon. Did you have any experience getting fastpasses after they were normally all distributed? I had read that, but just wanted to make sure that it's not a problem.

We're going in September, so crowds shouldn't be bad...but we were planning on using them at DHS on either the evening EMH night or Fantasmic night, since we will be spending the first half of those days at a different park and anticipate that FPs for the main attractions will be distributed by the time we get there.

We used our FP all the way until about 8pm both nights. The only snag we ran into was at The Tower Of Terror. The machine was not working. But I just grabbed a cast member and he just issued me the amount I needed manually. But there was always one FP machine available for the Special FP Card and there is even a small poster above the machine that states only those who have the special FP Card can use the remaining machine. And it has a picture of what the Special FP Card looks like for anyone who may be confused.

Thanks for posting...glad it worked out so well for you.

I have a question....the Fast Pass option is loaded on your current tickets? If this is the case, how do you get a regular fast pass?

You receive separate FP cards that you enter into the machines, and they give you immediate FPs. You can still use your park ticket to obtain FPs as usual. I think the CMs ask for everyone's tickets to be sure they are valid for entry, so I don't say there are six in my group when it is just me so I can get six FP cards. :rotfl2:

Correct. They scan each ticket to make sure they are valid. Then they give you a Special FP Card for each person in your group.

Ok...thank you both....that is what I thought...but then I got confused...thanks for clarifying it for me.

We are going to WDW in July and will be using 2 of our vouchers for FP option at MK and HS. My question to you, instead of giving away the extra couldn't you have riden another of the rides on the list? Don't get me wrong, it was very nice of you to give them away. I just wanted to make sure how it worked. In our group we will have 2 teens who can ride by themselves and grandma and myself who don't ride a few of the rides. That would leave 2 extra tickets that the boys could go and ride one of the rides themselves.

Is it ok to do this?

Yep we sure could of rode more than once. And in your situation with the 2 teens that would work perfect. We had a group of 9 two of which who really did not like the real adventury rides and two in our group who were not tall enough for the RnR. There was so much that we wanted to do that we told ourselves we would only ride each of the FP options once so everyone got a good variety of what they wanted to ride. So we just printed off the extras and gave them away. It really worked out good for us that way. My husband did take advantage of the fact that the FP machine was not working earlier in the day so the CM just gave us FPs manually. By the time we had circled back around to it later in the day we still had an extra ride on each card because the cards were not actually scanned the first time because of the machine not working. So with 9 FPs and not everyone riding, he and 3 others from our group (4 total) rode TofT 2 more times that evening. Which still left us with 1 FP printed off LOL! I just kept it as a souvenir.

I'm jealous! We were at MK today with a group of 9 and they would only give me 6 passes. We didn't really use it to it's full potential because I didn't want the last 3 people to have to miss out. Maybe we'll have better luck tomorrow...
