Before the trip I had lost 8lbs with WW. But I knew I wasnt going to stick with WW at Disney. I didn't deprive myself, didn't overindulge either. But I enjoyed myself and only gained 1 lb.

With all that walking, you have tons of exercise points! LOL.

Congratulations! I'm sure that added pound will melt away once you return to your usual routine! My biggest concern is that we're going to WDW for 4 days on the free dining plan followed by a 7-day cruise. All of that tempting, good food may wind up doing me in! I hope I can be as strong as you.

Good for you! We are leaving in a few weeks and I am nervous about it. I have lost 37 lb. and would like to make that an even 40 before we leave. I plan to eat what I want, but not make myself sick since I am not used to eating sweets or fried food. I want my Dole Whip, Ice cream from Beaches and Cream and Mickey Bar though!! :teeth:

cynde -- :woohoo: that is FANTASTIC!! i agree with Lisa that you are definately going to see the scale number moving downward now that you are back home and in such a positive mindset after having a fab vacation and not feeling like you've sabotaged your weight loss. one pound - heck i fluctuate that easily on a normal week!

lisa -- oh my! the cruise! i gained 7 lbs last november on the magic!! and i worked out some too -- i hope to do better next April but oh my it's so easy to just sample this and that

Oh I soooo had 2 Dole Whips! Love em. But I did pass on my own Mickey Premium bar. 2 bites of my kids were fine. DH and I shared a few deserts. I think it was all that walking. And I made sure I ate fruit for breakfast and had some for lunches.

But my BEST meal there was dinner at Jiko. OMG, Heaven! I had the Filet atop of Mac and Cheese with a Red Wine reduction sauce. And DH and I shared a bottle of Glen Carlou Chardonnay. It was the best thing I ever tasted. I was reluctant to share with DH but I did. :thumbsup2 He had the Scallops and they were absolutely delicious. Kids had the mac n cheese. JIko makes the best mac n cheese I have ever tasted. But in order to indulge for Jiko I had fruit for breakfast and shared a chicken wrap with DH for lunch.

I'm happy with only gaining 1lb. I wasn't going to miss out on Disney food! :)

Way to go Cynde!

I'm nervous already about my trip at the end of July. We will be there for 16 days and I'm so nervous that I'll gain at least 10lbs. The key will be getting right back on track as soon as I get home. Even with walking all day, I know I'll gain too much.

I wrestle everyday with - I'll eat healthier when I'm there, no I'll eat the things I love. Hopefully it will not be too bad.

You will loose that 1 pound in a day or so. It's just water weight. I always find if I stray over the weekend, I can be back down to where I was by Thursday at the latest. As long as I am careful and watch my points for the few days afterwards.
