Well firstly I wish my scanner worked and then I could show you all what a lovely holiday we've just had I'll bring piccys to the Essex Meet.
Cyprus was just beautiful. The island was full of friendly people. We stayed in a beautiful hotel lookie here
We kept comparing it with WDW hotels and thought it was way on a par with a deluxe there.
They had this wonderful spa which Paul treated me to a package at which included :
2 hydromassages
2 jet massages (sadistic - still no pain no gain LOL)
2 one hour body massages (I said medium pressure good job I didn't say strong!)
1 facial
1 body peel (baby soft skin now)
1 body mask (torture pure torture - not for the claustrophobic)
1 manicure
1 pedicure
It was better than staying on a health farm.
The food was to die for with a buffet breakfast that we thought was better than.............. shock horror................ can't bring myself to say it but...................Cape May Cafe.
It was Paul's birthday on Tuesday and the hotel sent a beautiful berry mousse birthday cake on a tray and then he got a call from the Reservation Desk Manager to say Happy Birthday - I hadn't even told them, but they got it from the check in card.
On leaving we were left a gift in our room of a boxed bottle of Cyprus Orange Liquour called Filfar saying Bon Voage from the Manager.
The weather was in the 90's everyday and the sea was warm and blue and clear.
We stuffed ourselves silly and laid by the pool relaxing and reading - just pure idyllic heaven - we will be going back.
Came back to find out that someone got me a possibility of a 3 month job which I don't really want but the money would sure be handy - I had my interview on Friday and will hear on Monday - don't worry though I said I could only take it if they gave me the first 2 weeks off in December coz I'm gonna be somewhere real special
. Gonna miss being a lady of leisure though
