We'll be there also in May from the 12th to 19th,coming in from Sudbury, On Canada, two grandparents and 6 yr old grandaughter,the resort looks great thanks for the info.

I am new to the board and booked at CSR yesterday for a trip in May with 5 year old and husband. I felt fortunate b/c when I originally looked for availability, CSR wasn't coming up as an option - checked another day and there was a room! I know there are all sorts of recommendations on rooms, but I hope that I just get lucky and get a nice clean room (requested water view) near one of the quiet pools.
I also booked the dining plan and since this is new to me, please bear with me...At Pepper Market how does the dining plan work-is it Counter Service? They aren't really combo meals per se so I can see myself getting food from here and there and being charged at the end for what isn't covered. Does the dining plan cover the 10% you are referencing. And I can't imagine those desserts shown in these pics as being an option for plan Counter Service dessert!

The Pepper Market is considered counter service and yes those delicious desserts are included. I'm not sure about the 10% gratuity. Someone else can answer about the combo meals but when we were there,we could get a burrito with a side. However,we haven't been on the DDP so I really don't know.

Thanks for your review. I had wanted to stay at CSR so badly this August, but it is full during the week that I want to go. I guess there is a convention. Anyway, I do want to try this resort in the future.

We were looking to stay August 21 through 29. Buzz said that there was a big conference there toward the end of that week.

I just got back this week too. I thought the Pepper Market was OK. The kids menu wasn't very good though. The hot dogs were terrible, very limited selection. Otherwise, the food was good. Great gift shop, awesome pool.

We ended up with a leak in the room above ours. I called in the AM to complain about a wet floor. When we got back to our room, there was a huge industrial fan on the floor. No information, just a fan. The next day, it was soaking wet again so I had to call again. They never checked back with us or anything. Finally late on the 2nd day, we were offered to move to a new room since they discovered a leak in the room above ours. It was a hassle to move. I can understand that a leak isn't their fault but I was really disappointed with how they handled it.

We will still stay at CSR again.

Thats such a bummer having to move. I would have been dissapointed as well. It is such a bother to pack everything up twice!

Great to hear it worked out so well for you. We are staying there in June, but have 2 kids also. Not to thirlled about there only being one sink in the room, but it sounds like a great place.

Going on Feb. 19...have a king bed room booked...and am worrying about being put in a smoking room (severe asthma makes this an absolute no-no!). But it sounds like the resort was very attentive to your needs. Can't wait to go and leave this frigid weather behind! Thanks for the review!

There is only one building out of 13 so your chances of not getting cabana 9a are in your favor. I wouldn't worry about that.

Just wanted to let you all know that I booked a room at the beginning of January and all that was avail. was a King room. I was hoping for 2 beds. Yesterday I decided to get a quote from Dreams Unlimited. They quoted and got me the room I wanted at the same price as Disney directly. So if you think they are booked solid, keep calling or use DU. I'm so happy to have them covering my back as well as making all my Dining Ressies for me, as I'm on the Westcoast. She also said they do their best to apply any discount codes when they come out, ie: free DDP, etc. Since I'm going to be on another vacation in AZ in April, I was afraid of missing the window...not with DU!

I have to say they were extremely attentive. It was also my birthday that week and we returned to balloons and a card from Goofy for my BD. I had wanted to stay on the monorail or dolphin/swan but just didnt have the $$$ and I now know they would have been waisted $$$$. I have absublutly n complaints! Everything worked as it should. It is Disney!

I usually search Google by typing "CORONADO SPRINGS CONVENTION 2007"

Check this thread also, it has a listing of many upcoming conventions at CSR.
