I am so sad our trip is over! I want to go back RIGHT NOW! Anyways, we stayed at CSR which I was nervous about because I usually stay at GF or YC. It was gorgeous on the outside - the grounds were beautiful and the buildings were adorable. The rooms were decent - the beds were OK but it didn't matter because we were so tired by the times we got back that we probably could have fallen asleep on the floor! Another thing is that the resort is HUGE and it takes awhile to walk anywhere (which I didn't really mind but when we came back and were pooped we just wanted to be right at our room!)
We ate dinner at Chef Mickey the first night and it was an all girls no kids trip, but we still thought it would be fun. We were right it was cute and the food was actually better than I had remembered. We had a sweet waiter named Chris who was wonderful. We were on the DDP but tipped him anyway.
Our second night we ate at Boma. Our waitress was nice but very, very quiet and she acted sad the whole time and never smiled! Regardless the food was great (the Apple soup or whatever the real name is- is awesome!) The people from Africa that worked there were such sweethearts and were so excited when we wanted to take a picture with them.
Third night was Mama Melrose's. I had heard bad reviews about it but we all loved our food. We got the tomato flat bread which were kind of like pizza's. Bruschetta appetizer was good and tasted very fresh. We also had the lemon custard dessert which was probably my favorite of anywhere we went!
Fourth night was Ohana. I loved the atmosphere but wasn't feeling well so I didn't really eat much of the food. My friends loved it though and I would definitely go back. We went around 8:30pm and there were hardly any kids there! Lipoa was there and was awesome!
Our last night was at Coral Reef. Once again I had heard bad reviews about this place but decided to go anyways since we would be in Epcot. Everything was delicious. I tried to Lobster soup which was awesome and had the Mahi Mahi. Apparently they had changed the menu earlier that day, but I actually hadn't looked it up online before we went so I don't know what is different! Our waiter was awesome! His name was Brandon and was so cute and sweet and nice! Definitely would go back!
I read on here that we MUST try to Dole Whip and the School Bread in Norway. I didn't know what the school bread was and when I saw it I was so surprised bc I thought it would literally be bread! Its like a giant cream puff with coconut and it is soooo awesome!! I got a Dole Whip in MK and my friends didnt want one, but once they tried mine they ran back and got one for themselves!!
We got to the park about 1/2hr before they opened every day except Sunday b/c we did trail rides @ fort wilderness. The longest line we had to wait in was for Splash Mountain which was 60 minutes but everything else ws not longer than 30! We only needed to do the Fastpass for Peter Pan! We somewhat followed the plans in the Unofficial Guide 07 book and those were great! We hardly waited! Everest was AWESOME!
Anyways, I want to go back for the Garden Festival with my mom so I have to talk her into it. I miss Disney already!!!
